Nelson Mandela at Home and School

Today was a great day at school, as usual. Right now me and my classmates are working on "Long Walk to Freedom"a memoir from Nelson Mandela. I thought the memoir was lame. It was about the hardships of obtaining freedom. Though,I do know that I have to have a past in order to have a future,I didn't like the story. He was just reminising about all of the darkness and racism in the past.He wasn't specific enough about his good times. I know freedom is something I take advantage of but, it was depressing. It made me think that he needed to start looking toward the future. He is very wise, but I think he needs to understand that everything is not darkness and racism.

School Day

Today was great as usual, for school that is. I learned something new and did a lab in Science. We did observations on, how a chicken bone compares to a rock. The rock was heavier, louder, but just as hard as the bone. I learned something new in French, which I have fun in. Besides, P.E. and Reading. Today, in French I learned how French sentences are formed. They use subjects and verbs, like English. Accept it was in French. When Mr.Temendou teaching how groups were classified, in men and women. The boys took it as, boys were dominant in France. Since, if there is a group of girls with a few boys, the group is called il-men, not elle-women. In the end Mr.Temendou put us back on track. My French class is loud, eager, and a bit talkative.Though, we learn and get our work done. For the most part, that is! Reading was unexpected. In class, two of our classmates shared their memories from childhood. One of them was really interesting, though. Other than that, we worked, learned about complete subjects and complete predicates, and did work. That was my awesome school day!
